Earlier Effective Date

When you are awarded service connection for a disability, the VA also assigns an effective date for your monthly benefits.  Usually, this date is the date that the Veteran filed the most recent claim for compensation or increased compensation.  However, this may not be the earliest possible effective date, and the VA wrongly may have deprived you of valuable back pay and compensation.  If you feel that the effective date is unfair or incorrect, a claim for an earlier effective date may rectify this discrepancy.

Fochler Veterans Law can effective analyze your case to maximize the benefits you are entitled to and ensure you are adequately compensated.
